October Holidays

Can’t quite believe that I am writing this, but we have completed Term 1 in Primary 5! It has been quite a mad term with the inspection, harvest assembly and generally adjusting to life in Primary 5. Looking forward to next term and really being able to get our teeth into things. You have achieved lots already and I am excited for where our learning will take us next term.

Also, a great effort from everyone sharing their skills with us, what a talented bunch we are. I’m all caked out!! But well done for the effort!

During the holidays, if you would like to, then please feel free to add a page onto your profile called ‘October Holidays’ and upload some pictures and things onto your page and some writing to go alongside it. You can take pictures on a phone and can save them to your google drive and then upload them from there.

Please keep up the learning timetable where possible during the holidays and take pictures of that and upload it too. There are a few people who are doing a great job of managing their time and bringing it to school completed. There are others who have not brought it back and uploaded it to their timetable yet.

Use the ideas on the blog for Maths and Literacy ideas- can you find any words or phrases in the holidays that we can use in our Magpie book? Write them down and bring them in if you do. Also looking to see lots of reading being done so our wall can get a little fuller.

We have two final weeks of swimming when we return, if Ronan’s Mum or Dad and Rory B’s Mum can do 28/10 and Robin and Charlie’s Mum or Dad can do 4/11 that will be us covered. Leave a comment to let me know you can do this.

We have had a great first term together and you all deserve your holidays and I hope you come back refreshed and raring to go.

That’s all for now, Happy Holidays!!!
